You’ve got plans on Friday now! IU Late Nite provides students with a new lineup of free activities every Friday night, 9 PM-1 AM, at the IMU. From craft nites to haunted houses to dances, and so much more!
CultureFest Meet up and join in cultural activities with staff and students from all IU Culture Centers and areas. Find your people AND expand your circle. Watch live performances, receive free goodies, and purchase popular entrees from food trucks on 8/18 from 4–6 pm at the Fine Arts Plaza. Don’t forget your Crimson Card, cash, or credit for food
RecFest Learn about everything IU Campus Recreational Sports featuring free food, giveaways, entertainment, and games on 8/19 from 11 am–2 pm at Garrett Fieldhouse.
Sex, Drugs, Rock and Roll This event, sponsored by the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), is designed to promote positive health choices. Enjoy free food and giveaways on 8/19 from 11 am–2 pm at Showalter Fountain.
Part-Time Job Fair Thinking about working on-campus or off-campus? Connect with 70+ employers at the Fall Part-time Job Fair on 8/19 from 11 am–3 pm! No Hoosier Alone Whether your circle is big or small, be that friend who knows what to do when the party's over. The Indiana Lifeline Law provides legal immunity for certain charges to minors who call 9-1-1 in an alcohol-related emergency.

With a variety of team and individual sports offered throughout the year like home run derby, soccer, eSports FIFA, battleship, and flag football, and ultimate frisbee, there is something for everyone! Asian Culture Center Welcome Reception and Student Organization Fair As you plan your first weeks at the Indiana University Bloomington campus, stop by the Asian Culture Center on 9/8 from 5-6 pm! It’ll be a time for meeting new friends and student leaders of Asian and Asian American student groups, learning about various student services and organizations, and tasting Asian-inspired dishes. Be sure to bring a friend!

Try yoga in Dunn Meadow on 9/9 at 4:30 pm with IU Outdoor Adventures. De-stress, learn a new skill, and meet new people in a peaceful outdoor space in IU’s very own backyard. Join for an hour-long, beginner-level yoga practice.
Workshops on demand featuring topics ranging from beating anxiety, stress management, procrastination, sleep, adjusting to college, body-image, conflict resolution and trust, coping with change, coping with depression, and coping with minority stress. As emerging issues/events occur in our world, CAPS may also create new online workshops. Visit the webpage often.
Practice mindfulness meditation, a research-based strategy to help reduce anxiety, improve concentration, and regulate emotion! The workshops are offered several times per week. Check the website for a time that fits you!
Block Party Concert featuring blackbear With one of today’s most iconic pop artists headlining this event, the 2022 Block Party will undoubtedly set the standards for a hyped concert! IU Campus Farmstand Stop by the IU Campus Farmstand for the freshest, healthiest food on Tuesdays and Thursdays through October 27 from 4–7 pm!
Colectiva Dinner Colectiva dinners at La Casa provide the opportunity for Latine students to stay connected, have fun and foster a sense of community. Join at 7pm on 9/21. New and returning students are always welcome. Hope to see you there!
Apply to be on Homecoming Court! Two members of the Court will be crowned and receive a $500 scholarship. Applications are due on 9/23 at 6 pm
Lotus World Music Festival Explore the Lotus World Music Festival that takes venues all over Bloomington to showcase world musicians from 9/22 to 9/25. Lotus kicks off the festival with Lotus in the Meadow on 9/22. More details to come.
Out Loud Enjoy live music featuring exclusively queer artists and bands hosted by the Queer Student Union on 9/24 from 5-8 pm in Dunn Meadow.

Living Off-Campus Are you thinking about signing a lease to move off campus? Maybe you are already living off campus, and have questions about your lease or about being a tenant in Bloomington. We’re here to help! Join Student Legal Services (SLS) and the Office of Student Life (DSA) for a workshop on leasing and living off-campus in Bloomington.
Get support from your peers Each week CAPS offers free support groups on chronic illness, empowering students of color, gender expressions, grief and loss, healthy relationships, queer space, and self-care and support for survivors. Learn more about each of these support groups here.

Need Support? We know that sometimes students experience challenges that affect their ability to be successful at Indiana University. A Care Referral is an easy way to request help with an issue or concern, especially if you don't know which office or department to contact.
Get academic support Sign up for one of these two second 8-week classes with the Student Academic Center. Both classes are two credits, open to students at all levels, focused on supporting you as a whole person, and have been shown to improve your learning and grades.
