Scholarships for Students with Qualifying Medical Conditions

It is the intent of the Donor, and the Foundation agrees, that income from this gift be used to support scholarships for students on the Bloomington campus who have been diagnosed with cerebral palsy or have challenges with mobility and mental health.

The Amanda Meredith Mills Memorial Scholarship is open to undergraduate students enrolled in a degree program on the Bloomington campus who have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Because, as part of its mission, Indiana University is committed to diversity, special consideration will be given to underrepresented populations, including but not limited to financially challenged students, and/or students with diverse cultural experiences. The Donors have a preference for students who have overcome or are living with physical and/or mental health challenges, are U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and have demonstrated financial need.

The Anita F. Boorda Scholarship supports undergraduate and graduate students with disabilities at IU Bloomington.

The Clarence R. McIntire and Peggy Thomas McIntire Fund is designated for students enrolled at IU Bloomington with physical disabilities.

The Class of 1952 Disabled Student Scholarship is open to all students with disabilities.

The income from this gift is to be used to support undergraduate scholarships for student at IUB who demonstrate financial need. Because, as part of its mission, Indiana University is committed to diversity, special consideration will be given to underrepresented populations, including but not limited to financially challenged students, and/or students with diverse cultural experiences. Preference is given to students who have significant physical disabilities, are incoming freshman, and are in-state students. The Scholarship may be renewed.

This trust provides scholarships to disadvantaged or minority individuals, with special emphasis for those students who have substantial speech, language, or hearing impairments.

The Homer E. Marsh Student Scholarship is open to all students with disabilities. Preference is given to students with demonstrated financial need.

Scholarship for full time undergraduate students with learning disabilities enrolled on Bloomington campus who have at least a 3.00 GPA. The award is predicated on financial need with consideration given to extracurricular activities. Preference given first to a student who is a resident of Davidson County, Tennessee, second to a resident of Tennessee, and third to a resident of Indiana.

Scholarship for students with visual impairments or, if known, students whose parents are visually impaired. Student should have at least a 3.00 GPA. Preference given to working students.

The Sara Ellen and Alan J. Feldman Fund provides financial assistance for disabled students enrolled in a degree program at IU Bloomington. Must be a U.S. citizen, with priority given to students who have limited mobility and possibly use a wheelchair or braces. Students with financial need will receive the greatest consideration.

These scholarships are for undergraduate or graduate students on the Bloomington campus who are hearing-impaired. Preference will be given to students who are enrolled in the Kelley School of Business or the School of Education. The Donors have an additional preference for two recipients annually. The Scholarship may be renewed provided that the recipients are in good standing as determined by the Scholarship Committee.
