About Amy

Amy Sterneman serves as an Associate Director in the Student Care and Resource Center. Amy joined the Care Team in June 2023.

As Associate Director, Amy oversees processing of Care Referrals and assists students with navigating challenging times and difficult situations. Amy is the Student Care and Resource Center’s liaison to local hospitals and takes the lead on assisting students and families returning to campus after a medical event.

Prior to this position, Amy served as a Crisis Specialist for Suicide Prevention at Centerstone and as a Domestic Violence Victim Advocate at Prevail. Amy also currently is the staff advisor to the Ballroom Dance Club at Indiana University.

Amy is a proud IU alum with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University and a Master of Arts in Sociology from Ball State University.
