About Brian

Brian Richardson Jr. is an award-winning equity minded leader who’s professional influence and experience includes professional sports, public health, public policy, education, nonprofit, tech, among others. He most recently served as the inaugural Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Indianapolis Colts, where he showcased his ability to lead transformative initiatives within a realm of professional sports and the community. As a result of his efforts, in 2022, he received the Champion of Diversity Award from the Indiana Minority Business Magazine.

Mr. Richardson is a recognized voice, with national appearances on TEDx, the Big Ten Network, Sirius XM radio, and across the state of Indiana, as he has been featured on various news, radio, and magazine outlets.

Mr. Richardson currently serves as the Senior Advisor to the Vice Provost of Student Life at Indiana University while also pursuing his Doctorate in Business Administration at Indiana Wesleyan University. His educational journey includes a Masters degree in Kinesiology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, a Bachelors of Science in Sports Management from Culver Stockton College, and certifications in Organizational Leadership and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Harvard University Business School and the University of South Florida respectfully.
