Sara Ivey Lucas is currently serving as the Director of Residential Life and Assistant Dean of Students and Parents at Indiana University. Assistant Dean Ivey Lucas began working in the Dean of Students Office in January 2015. 

As a committed advocate for student success on the IU campus, she helps coordinate the work of the Care Team to ensure that students are offered all appropriate resources to navigate their concerns.  Prior to working in the Dean of Students Office she served the campus in Residential Programs and Services where she worked in Briscoe, Collins LLC, Forest, and Teter, as well as directing the housing assignments process. 

Sara is a two-time IU alumnus with a Bachelor of Journalism and Political Science and a Master of Higher Education and Student Affairs.
