The Office of Student Life and its departments offer a range of scholarships and awards for Indiana University Bloomington students and student organizations. Recipients are selected based on academic performance, campus involvement, leadership, and various other criteria.
Student Life also presents several awards each year to recognize outstanding faculty, staff, and community partners.

The Student Life Staff Excellence Awards recognize the contributions of students, faculty, staff, and community partners to the Office of Student Life. Student Life staff members nominate candidates and the Awards Committee selects the recipients.
This recognition award is given annually to one University staff member outside the Office of Student Life in recognition of his/her efforts in promoting Student Life's mission. This category includes all University staff members and University faculty members presently serving in an administrative capacity.
This recognition award is given annually to a campus program that has done the most to foster the Office of Student Life's mission during the preceding year.
This recognition award is given annually to the member of the Office of Student Life's support staff who has done the most to foster Student Life's mission during the preceding year.
This recognition award is given annually to one faculty member on the IU Bloomington campus for contributing to the Office of Student Life's mission, vision, and values through interacting with and attending to students in both the curricular and co-curricular areas.
This recognition award is given to a graduate student for contributing to the Office of Student Life's mission, vision and values (i.e., balancing academic and extracurricular activities, and bringing special attention to Student Life's mission), while serving Student Life as a student employee.
This recognition award is given annually to one undergraduate or graduate student for contributing to the Office of Student Life's mission, vision and values (i.e. balancing academic, and extra-curricular activities, and bringing special attention to Student Life's mission). This is specifically for a student NOT employed within Student Life.
This recognition award is given annually to a Student Life Dean or Director who demonstrated excellence in their commitment to the mission of the Office of Student Life during the preceding year.
This recognition award is given annually to a non-University employee or organization that, through their interactions with our students, has fostered the mission, vision and values of the Office of Student Life.
This recognition award is given annually to the member of the Office of Student Life's service maintenance staff who has done the most to foster Student Life's mission during the preceding year.
This recognition award is given annually to the member of the Office of Student Life's full-time professional staff who has done the most to foster Student Life's mission during the preceding year. All appointed ten-month or twelve-month employees of professional rank are eligible with the exception of Student Life directors who are excluded from consideration.
This recognition award is given to an undergraduate student for contributing to the Office of Student Life's mission, vision and values (i.e., balancing academic and extracurricular activities, and bringing special attention to Student Life's mission) while serving Student Life as a student employee.
