The Bennett-Fields scholarship is given to a student(s) who are balancing academic success while also engaged and active on campus and who are positively connecting their classmates as well as bettering and furthering the mission of IU. This $2,500 award is given to a rising junior or senior for outstanding student involvement.

Application requirements
To be considered for the Bennett-Fields Scholarship, you must complete the online application by clicking the link below.
Apply HereRequired application materials, which will be uploaded to the online application form, include:
- A general scholarship application that includes information you have listed on your resume, including academic achievements, extracurricular activities, campus and community services, and any honors or awards you have received.
- A one-page essay (no more than 700 words) answering the following prompt: Please describe your student organization involvement what you have learned from your student organization involvement and how you have made a positive impact through your student organization involvement.
- One letter of recommendation from an IU faculty or staff member. The letters should address your academic success and student leadership on campus.
Eligibility requirements

- Have sophomore or junior standing during the academic year you apply
- Active Leadership in student organization(s)
- Preference is given to students with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
