About Ellie
Ellie (she/her) is a Doctoral Psychology Intern at IU CAPS. She is obtaining her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School, where she also received her MA in Clinical Psychology in 2023. Ellie’s BA in Psychology is from IU (Go Hoosiers!). Across her previous years of training, Ellie has worked in university counseling, private practice, therapeutic day school, and community mental health settings.
Ellie believes strongly in the power of the therapeutic relationship and strives to create a warm, non-judgmental space for her clients to feel safe. Her approach is grounded in relational cultural theory, yet Ellie also incorporates other therapeutic techniques to best meet clients’ needs. Ellie enjoys working with a variety of folks, including those wanting to work through relationship difficulties, body image concerns, trauma, and adjustment to life transitions.
In her free time, Ellie enjoys reading a good novel, trying new recipes, and spending time in nature.
